Production process of gypsum powder
Gypsum powder is a material widely used in fields such as architecture, sculpture, and healthcare. Its production process is relatively complex and mainly includes the following steps:
1、 Raw material preparation
The main raw material for gypsum powder is natural gypsum ore, which usually needs to be screened and crushed to ensure that the particle size and quality of the raw materials meet production requirements. In addition, it is necessary to prepare an appropriate amount of additives to improve the performance of gypsum powder.
2、 Calcination
Send the screened and crushed gypsum ore into a calcination furnace for high-temperature calcination. The calcination temperature is generally controlled between 1200 ℃ and 1600 ℃. By controlling the calcination time and temperature, the calcium sulfate in gypsum ore undergoes dehydration reaction to produce hemihydrate gypsum.
3、 Grinding powder
The calcined hemihydrate gypsum needs to be ground to reduce particle size and improve the activity of gypsum powder. During the grinding process, equipment such as ball mills or Raymond mills are usually used. After grinding to a certain fineness, gypsum powder can enter the next process.
4、 Mixing and homogenization
Mix the ground gypsum powder with additives to ensure uniform distribution of various components. Subsequently, the mixture was homogenized using homogenization equipment to further improve the quality stability of gypsum powder.
5、 Packaging and Storage
After mixing and homogenization, gypsum powder can be packaged in two common forms: bagged and bulk. After packaging, gypsum powder should be stored in a dry and ventilated environment to avoid moisture and clumping.
6、 Quality control
Throughout the entire production process, it is necessary to strictly monitor the various performance indicators of gypsum powder to ensure that the product quality meets national standards and customer needs. In addition, regular maintenance and upkeep of production equipment are necessary to ensure its normal operation.
In short, the production process of gypsum powder involves multiple links, each of which has a significant impact on the quality of the final product. Only by strictly controlling the quality of each link can high-quality gypsum powder be produced.
